Hope for the Neurodivergent Journey
Providing Parents with a Plan for Success
Providing Parents with a Plan for Success
Parenting is challenging enough. Once you add layers of neurodivergent behaviors both diagnosed and undiagnosed, answering the question ‘What do we do now?’ can leave you feeling depleted and isolated. Sadness and concern sets in, and life becomes chaotic with endless appointments, lifestyle changes, and shifts in schedules and routines. You grapple with dietary adjustments, carefully balancing medications, and searching for effective alternative treatments and therapies. Navigating social activities and school adds to the weight you carry, making you feel incredibly alone. You may wonder if your child’s future will ever be bright and question whether you’re truly equipped to handle this journey.
Take a deep breath. You already have what it takes to embark on this parenting journey. Together we’ll prioritize the goals, aspirations and dreams you have for you and your child. Implementing new strategies will allow you to create the relationship you deeply desire with your kiddo.
By investing in support from a certified coach and experienced guide, you’ll gain strategies to set both yourself and your child up for success. A structured, practical plan paves the way for a deeper connection and relationship with your child.
Every parent deeply desires to have that special relationship that happens only between a parent and a child. Strategies that pave the way to neurodiverse affirming care rather than trying to “fix” your child allows you to discover who your child is, create extraordinary relationships and become the parent you want to be. Creating happy memories is right around the corner!
I’m Susie Goodwin and I’m here to help! I focus on supporting parents of children with behavioral challenges to honor their neurodivergent child’s gifts rather than seeking to “fix” them. The strategies parents and I co-create result in an atmosphere where everyone’s needs can be met and disruptive behaviors don’t dominate relationships.
“Susie gave us the skills and tools to have a more consistent, calm, and fun relationship with our kids. We have the ability to confidently set loving boundaries that leaves our children’s autonomy and dignity intact. This has significantly reduced our stress and upset.”
—Amy Rogge, Occupational Therapist and Owner of Rogge & Associates
“We were out of ideas and not parenting the way we wanted. Susie sheds light on the loving parents we truly are. Together we put a plan in place that worked for our family. We are now happy, more confident, and connected with our children.”
—Jeannie Sajonas, parent to two boys
